Brett Matzke
Brett received her RYT200 at the Maui Yoga Shala, and is currently on the path towards becoming a Certified Yoga Therapist with PranaYoga School for Holistic Health and Yoga. In her studies, she has learned that it is the combination of Ayurveda & Yoga Therapy that beautifully represent her own core beliefs around healing holistically.
Anna Jump
Anna is E-RYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP. She recieved her training from Saraswati’s Yoga Joint and Cathy Madeo Yoga. She also holds certifications in Yin yoga, anatomy, and sequencing. A lifelong student of yoga philosophy, Anna teaches on the 200hr YTT faculty at SYJ. Her classes blend intelligent, alignment-based vinyasa with opportunities to build strength, explore playful shapes, and slow down with mindful awareness.
Dana Yeminy- Soto
Dana is a 500 RYT with 15 years of experience in teaching vinyasa, YIN, prenatal yoga, and anatomy. She holds certifications in Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy, Thai Yoga Massage, and advanced Vinyasa and Ashtanga training, having studied with esteemed teachers from Bali and beyond. Her classes are supportive and offers options to meet you where you're at.
Kat Sabath
Kat completed her 200-hour RYT certification under the mentorship of Lyn Kehoe in Ridgefield, CT in 2021. Kat is currently earning her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at Columbia University and enjoys bringing therapeutic techniques into her teaching. Kat teaches an all-levels vinyasa class with a focus on mindful movement through the poses, guided by the breath. Kat will encourage you to embrace challenges, but always listen to your body and rest in gratitude when needed. You can expect her to sprinkle in some yoga philosophy throughout class as well!
Kait Santos
Kait is a 200hr certified yoga teacher through Yoga Culture in Danbury, CT in 2015. She is also a PCES-certified prenatal and postpartum exercise specialist through Dr. Sarah Duvall. Kait works in marketing by day, is a mom to one, and a lover of learning, reading, traveling, and food. Kait believes yoga helps us to find a bit of magic in our every day through our connection with the body and breath. Her classes are powerful and fun, with a focus on building strength while finding space in the body and heart through movement and breath work.
Tiffany DeMartin
Tiffany (she/her) is an NCPT and Balanced Body certified Pilates instructor with nearly 15 years of experience on both coasts. She is also a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor, Konnector instructor, and specializes in working with pre- and post-operative breast cancer patients. A graduate of Heritage Training, Tiffany studied under leading experts in the field, but her true passion lies in making movement accessible to everyone. She believes in the healing power of movement, honoring each individual’s unique body and breath.
Sally Zhou
Sally completed her 200hr at Yoga Culture in Danbury in 2016. She hopes to share her passion for yoga through her classes by inviting her students to explore, connect, and deepen their own yoga practices. She hopes to break down student's expectations and just allow the recipe of mindful movement, focused sequencing, and being present to guide students in discovering what their bodies need in each moment. It's her hope that students will leave class feeling more balanced with a deeper connection to their breath and body.
Robyn Mortiboys
Robyn received her 200 hour yoga certification through YogaWorks in New York City in 2015 and has taught over a 1000 hours of yoga. She also certified as a StandUp Paddle Board yoga instructor in 2018 with ThumbSUP Yoga, and became a Reiki Master in 2022 through Carrie Brady and the horses of Possibilities Farm. This year (2025), Robyn became a Certified Personal Trainer. She uses this training to enhance alignment and anatomy cues and to sneak in strength and flexibility sequences. Robyn’s classes are fun and approachable for all levels. Expect corny jokes in between offering beginner to advanced pose options.
Klaira Simon
Klaira Simon is a 200-hr certified yoga instructor with over a decade of personal practice and a strong foundation in anatomy and movement science. Klaira holds a Master's degree in Psychology and studied undergraduate biology and psychological counseling. She is certified in many forms of vinyasa yoga, including Sculpt, Power and Restorative in both heated and unheated formats. After receiving a medical diagnosis that requires her to lift weights regularly, Klaira began to explore the integration of weight lifting and HIIT into yoga practice and has fallen in love with teaching the popular varieties of classes combining yoga, weight and cardio training.
Peter Iocovello
Kamesh Peter Iocovello is a Licensed Massage Therapist, E-RYT 500 Yoga Instructor, and Certified Meditation Teacher dedicated to helping individuals experience deep rest, healing,and embodied awareness. Drawing from extensive hands-on clinical experience and advanced yogic study, he guides students into practices that release tension, enhance flexibility, and cultivate inner stillness. Peter creates a warm, nurturing environment that empowers practitioners of all levels to slow down, reconnect, and restore balance from within.
Kayla Alterio
Front Desk Coordinator
Kayla is passionate about health, wellness, and community. With a background in public health, she has worked with the Bethel Health Department to improve access to health services and with the American Heart Association to promote heart health. Kayla enjoys arts, crafts, pottery, and spending time with loved ones. A foodie, lifelong learner, and adventurer, she’s always seeking new ways to grow and inspire. With years of experience with Redding Parks and Recreation, Kayla is now pursuing her dream of becoming a health and nutrition coach, dedicated to helping others become their healthiest, happiest selves through movement, mindfulness, and holistic wellness.
Erin Lowenadler

Erin recently earned her B.S. in Secondary Education (English) with a minor in Broadcast Journalism from Western Connecticut State University. Passionate about helping others, she is a high school English teacher. Erin joined our team to tap into her creativity and explore her growing interest in wellness and fitness. With a budding love for yoga, she brings curiosity, openness, and a desire to grow-- pursuing her M.A. in Journalism & Media Arts through the University of Alabama, and anticipates completing her YTT in 2026.
