Beginner & Gentle Classes
Foundations of Vinyasa
This foundational Vinyasa class is designed with our newer and senior students in mind. In this class we will provide a breakdown and explanation of each pose to learn proper movement, alignment, and terminology. This is a slower paced class that supports students of varying levels in their practice.
Slow Flow Vinyasa
This class is ideal for those days when you want to cultivate awareness of movement and breath at a steady pace. These classes are centered around not only conditioning the body but improving mood, and offering options to meet your practice.
Taken at a slower pace than our Vinyasa Flow class, this style offers slower transitions between poses and encourages mindfulness, resilience and self-compassion.
Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep," is a guided meditation practice that induces conscious relaxation while maintaining heightened awareness. You can expect minimal movement in the body in this practice. Participants lie down in a comfortable position, following verbal instructions that lead to profound physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Known for its stress-reducing benefits and therapeutic applications, Yoga Nidra provides a space for deep self-exploration and inner healing.
This class combines the flowing style of Vinyasa ('movement with breath') with a series of strong and powerful postures. Each Vinyasa Flow class targets physical strength and flexibility throughout the entire body. You can expect creative sequencing and thoughtful centerings.
Foundations of Ashtanga
Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic, flowing style of yoga which is structured in the same order of poses each time. This foundation class is a great way to learn the ashtanga series within your own limits. The practice can be physically demanding, but it is also a healing practice that may help to calm the parasympathetic nervous systems and encourage inner peace through deep breathing.
